Kijik Aviation Services, LLC (KAS) was established in November 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Kijik Corporation (Kijik), the ANCSA village corporation for the community of Nondalton. Kijik and its subsidiaries enjoy special privileges under the SBA 8(a) program. KAS was awarded 8(a) certification by the SBA in December 2011. KAS was established, in 2007 in Anchorage, Alaska, to provide remote air transportation services. Over the years, we began offering additional services to our clients, including logistics planning, consulting and project management. Today, we have a variety of clients in the public and private sectors that rely on our integrity and outstanding products and services to help manage and grow their business. From our perspective, success isn’t based on just satisfying deliverables; it’s based on understanding our client’s strategic business initiatives and ensuring their success in meeting them over the long haul. Kijik, which was originally founded as the Nondalton Native Corporation, is an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) established pursuant to the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Under the terms of ANCSA, Kijik received title to the surface estate to over 126,000 acres of land around Lake Clark and Six Mile Lake, approximately 160 miles southwest of Anchorage.

KAS began operations by providing a comprehensive array of helicopter air transportation services in support of natural resource development, heavy construction and mineral exploration.  Our expertise in operating in a remote Alaska location has been broadened to include multiple service lines in Alaska, within the United States and throughout the world for our customers.  
The senior management of KAS has almost 125 years collective experience successfully operating companies and programs, serving both commercial and government customers.  Their federal experience ranges from managing multi- year/multi-national management programs for DOD and DOS to Nationwide Tribal Outreach and Communications for Food and Drug Administration Center for Tobacco Products. KAS focus is on providing superior, timely and cost-effective solutions, using our team’s technology platforms and proven management expertise to effectively deliver consistent, reliable performance content to our customers. KAS is mission focused and results-driven.  Our program staff develops an understanding of our customer’s mission, operations and purpose.  Our internal and external processes are centered around successful accomplishmentof your objectives. The KIJIK team has satellite field offices throughout the United States, including an office in Washington, DC, and will use these resources as necessary to plan and manage Customer program implementation.
